Toddler Smoothie ~ from the Drs.

Toddler Smoothie

If your child is having difficulty gaining weight, try giving him or her Dr. Sears' Toddler Smoothie between meals. It's packed with vitamins, healthy fats and calories for the little one who can't seem to keep weight on.

Dr. Sears' Toddler Smoothie
• 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, made with whole milk
1/2 cup toddler formula Strawberries and blueberries to taste
Use frozen fruit or add a few ice cubes for "frozen icy" texture. For a more smooth consistency, use non-frozen fruit and add a little extra milk.
Experiment with various frozen fruits, such as papaya, mango, pineapple, banana

For children with average or slow metabolisms, you can make this smoothie with non-fat yogurt and skim milk. The goal is to put as much fruit as your child likes!
